CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) Cryptography – Part Three

The current version of the CompTIA Security+ exam has shifted focus to reflect advancements in Internet technology and current cybersecurity best practices. This change reflects advancements in Internet technology and current cybersecurity best practices. As a result, some deprecated cryptographic algorithms and embedded technologies have been removed. What hasn’t changed are exam objectives focused on three fundamental cryptographic technologies: symmetric key cryptography, asymmetric cryptography, and one-way hashing algorithms.
